It is Ricky, from Art II class via MHSB. After the second year of learning, I truly find myself into art and painting. I do not paint well even after my amicable teacher had taught us so much, however I enjoy the process of getting a painting done. My most favorite piece this semester is the watercolor rose. Hope I can improve more in the future.

Rendering Project
This project truly took a long time. I used all kinds of pencil, like 2B, 4B, H, etc. Mulan flower was illustrated in this project.
Chair of the Garden
I painted the whole chair white, I put on all those little roses, leaves, and then I drew small roses flower. Then obviously the theme is a garden. The chair is simple, but floral.
5 items in a shoebox
Perfume is particularly my life, because I like everything that smells good. I put my phone in the box because it is such a big part of my life. The little picture is my picture with one of my closest "sister", I love her and I value her as an important part of my life. I don't have much earrings, but I like those I have. A watch also reminds me about the time. I need to move on from the past, live the moment, and embrace the future. Watercolor is used.

Roses in the ocean
I guess roses and fish are incongruous. Especially roses in the ocean. Acrylic paints are used in this project.

Brave
Brave is a song sang by Sara Bareilles. I really like this song and I'm trying to illustrate it by the typography. Gouache was used in this painting though it was supposed to be watercolor. I did spent some amount of time on the detail.
Transformation
In this painting, a rose is transformed into a glass of wine. Again gouache was used. I have a obsession drawing roses and I like this piece.
Nonobjective
This project used watercolor. And it is the so called non-objective project. Painting was continued to the edge, it is pretty funny.
